Alicia graduated from Vanderbilt School of Nursing with a Master's degree in nursing after having practiced as a labor and delivery nurse in the Twin Cities, MN. She is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of CO.
Alicia became interested in midwifery during nursing school... "I truly believe that when women have a voice in their own healthcare they can achieve amazing things! I think that each of us already has some healthy practices that we incorporate into our daily lives and look forward to working with you to achieve your personal health goals in pregnancy and throughout life.
I enjoy many aspects of my work, including consulting with women to determine what level of support they would like during their labor and creating an individualized plan for their birth experience." Alicia is originally a Minnesota native and has enjoyed getting out into the beautiful Colorado landscape! In her spare time she loves to hike, bike, and swim.
