“I was inspired to become a midwife after being a labor and delivery nurse for over 10 years and seeing the need for holistic and evidence-based care as well as a choice of provider types for both well and childbearing women.  I was passionate about being a registered nurse but knew I could make more of a difference providing direct care to women and their families.”

Amy utilizes evidence-based practices with a strong focus on informed consent for healthcare decision making. She encourages a wellness approach to pregnancy and enjoys providing a family-centered model of care with low tech and high touch.

“I believe women can better care for themselves with incorporating daily self-care into our busy lives including eating a well-balanced diet, regular physical activity, and stress reduction techniques.”

Amy and her partner Drew have 3 children and reside in Monument Colorado. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and getting outdoors in the Colorado sunshine.
